Terms & Conditions for Online Bookings

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the booking and delivery of online consultations and review services provided by TravOnyx Consulting through its website and booking platform.

By booking or participating in any consultation or review service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
 

2. Services Covered

TravOnyx Consulting offers a range of online services that may be provided on either a complimentary or fee-paying basis.

Services may include:

• Discovery or introductory consultations

• Technology reviews

• Security reviews

• Architecture reviews

• Business and operational assessments

• Advisory sessions

• Strategic planning consultations

• General consulting services

The nature, duration, scope, deliverables, and applicable fees for each service will be specified at the time of booking or otherwise confirmed in writing.
 

3. Free Reviews

TravOnyx Consulting may offer complimentary reviews or introductory consultations from time to time.

Free reviews are provided solely for assessment and discussion purposes and may include preliminary observations, general recommendations, or identification of potential opportunities, risks, or areas for improvement.

A free review:

• Does not constitute a formal consulting engagement;

• Does not include detailed analysis, implementation services, project work, or written deliverables unless expressly stated;

• Does not create any obligation upon either party to proceed with further services.

TravOnyx Consulting reserves the right to modify, limit, decline, or discontinue free review offerings at any time.
 

4. Paid Consultations

Paid consultations are professional advisory services delivered remotely via online meeting platforms or other agreed communication channels.

For paid consultations:

• Fees will be disclosed before booking confirmation.

• Payment will be required before the consultation is conducted.

• The consultation will be limited to the scope described in the booking.

• Any recommendations or advice provided are based on information supplied by the client and circumstances known at the time of the consultation.

Unless expressly agreed, paid consultations do not include:

• Implementation services

• Project management

• Technical configuration

• Ongoing support

• Written reports

• Custom deliverables

Additional services may be provided under separate commercial arrangements.
 

5. Booking and Attendance

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when making a booking;

• Ensure that all information provided is truthful and current;

• Attend appointments at the scheduled time;

• Notify TravOnyx Consulting as soon as reasonably possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

TravOnyx Consulting reserves the right to refuse, reschedule, or cancel appointments where necessary.
 

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Unless otherwise specified during booking:

Free Reviews

Free reviews may be cancelled or rescheduled by either party without charge.

Paid Consultations

Clients may cancel a paid consultation by providing notice to TravOnyx Consulting.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Cancellations received more than 48 hours before the scheduled consultation time will receive a full refund.

• Cancellations received within 48 hours but more than 12 hours before the scheduled consultation time may be eligible for a refund of up to 50% of the consultation fee.

• Cancellations received within 12 hours of the scheduled consultation time are non-refundable.

• Failure to attend a scheduled consultation without prior notice ("no-show") is non-refundable.

Rescheduling

Clients may request to reschedule a consultation at any time before the scheduled start time, subject to availability.

TravOnyx Consulting will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests and, where accepted, no additional fee will apply.

Discretion of TravOnyx Consulting

TravOnyx Consulting understands that unexpected circumstances may arise. In exceptional situations, TravOnyx Consulting may, at its sole discretion:

• Provide a full or partial refund;

• Issue a credit towards a future consultation; or

• Allow a consultation to be rescheduled outside of the standard cancellation terms.

Any such decision will be made on a case-by-case basis and shall not create an ongoing entitlement or precedent for future bookings.
 

7. No Professional Relationship Beyond the Consultation

Booking or participating in a free review or paid consultation does not establish:

• A partnership;

• Joint venture;

• Employment relationship;

• Agency relationship; or

• Ongoing consulting engagement.

Neither party is obligated to enter into further business arrangements following a consultation.
 

8. Future Consulting Engagements

Where a client wishes to engage TravOnyx Consulting for project-based, ongoing, implementation, advisory, managed, or other consulting services beyond a standalone consultation, separate contractual documentation may be required.

Such documentation may include:

• Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

• Master Services Agreement (MSA)

• Statement of Work (SOW)

Where executed, those agreements will govern the applicable services and will take precedence over these Terms & Conditions.
 

9. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information relevant to the consultation;

• Obtaining any necessary internal approvals;

• Ensuring they have authority to discuss any organisation-specific matters;

• Maintaining appropriate security and confidentiality within their own systems and environments.

TravOnyx Consulting is not responsible for decisions made by clients based upon consultation outcomes.
 

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights relating to:

• Website content;

• Methodologies;

• Frameworks;

• Templates;

• Branding;

• Documentation; and

• Consultation materials

remain the property of TravOnyx Consulting unless otherwise agreed in writing.

No rights are transferred to the client except as expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
 

11. Confidentiality

TravOnyx Consulting will treat information shared during consultations as confidential and will not knowingly disclose such information to third parties except:

• Where required by law;

• With the client's consent; or

• As reasonably necessary to provide the requested service.

For engagements requiring formal confidentiality obligations, a separate NDA may be executed.
 

12. Disclaimer

Consultations, reviews, recommendations, opinions, observations, and guidance provided by TravOnyx Consulting are based on the information available at the time the service is delivered.

Clients remain solely responsible for:

• Business decisions;

• Operational decisions;

• Technical implementations;

• Security controls;

• Regulatory compliance activities.

TravOnyx Consulting does not guarantee any specific commercial, technical, operational, or financial outcome.
 

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TravOnyx Consulting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or economic loss arising from:

• Use of the website;

• A consultation booking;

• Information provided during a consultation;

• Decisions made by a client following a consultation;

• Delays, interruptions, or technical issues outside reasonable control.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, liability will be limited to the amount paid for the relevant consultation service.
 

14. Privacy

Personal information collected through the website or booking platform will be handled in accordance with the TravOnyx Consulting Privacy Policy.
 

15. Changes to These Terms

TravOnyx Consulting may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Updated versions will become effective upon publication on the website.
 

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Any dispute arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
